2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio QV

November 18, 2018

2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Verde 🍀

Having the opportunity to drive and shoot currently the second* fastest SUV on the planet, there is just no possible way of saying no.

And so I didn't.

From the design perspective, I think there is no denying it is a stunning looking car: striking Rosso Competizione Tri-Coat red color, muscular stance and various racing inspired elements, together with 20" dark wheels - it just screams "WOW".

And the best part? Sitting behind the wheel: this is first SUV that I have ever driven that you can have fun in. Not just the astronomic 510 horsepower engine, with mind blowing 0-100 kilometres per hour in just 3.8 seconds (crazy) but this Stelvio QV turns and you are having fun. Fun and huge smiles behind the wheels of an SUV! Oh, and once again...3.8 seconds for an 4x4 SUV with and exhaust note that will blow you away.

Of course if you wish to set it up as a daily comfy car, you just push the right buttons and there you have it... you daily commuter.I did spent one night and a day with this Nurburgring record breaker and returned the car speechless.

I love German engineering, but this Alfa Romeo has it all. If you are a car person and want little to no compromises with all the advantages of SUV's... look no further.

I do hope you will enjoy all the photos bellow as I did making them. Having a car like this for a photo shoot it is a simple job - it is striking on each photo.

TOP NUMBERS: 2.9 litre V6 twin turbo built in collaboration with Ferrari pushing 510HP, or 375kW, 0-100 kilometres per hour in just 3.8 seconds with top speed of 283 km/h and Nurburgring time of 7:51,7.

Special thank you goes to FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOBILES ČR s.r.o. and my good friend Matej. Thank you!

*2018 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC+ has beaten Alfa in time of 7:49,4.
